BIMBS RBIMBS BISS GRCH Flinthill's Rowen True Miracle
Our boy Rowen is a superb example of an American Hairless Terrier.  Rowen is Gaelic for "little king."  Full of energy and true spirit, this beautiful boy has, and always will be a true blessing to our family. Rowen comes to us from Mike and Bonnie Turner from Flinthill Kennels.  We will be forever grateful for the gift Rowen has become to us.

Rowen started his show career at six months of age.  Rowen championed at six months and by the time he was eight months old, Rowen was a Grand Champion. During his first show weekened, Rowen earned enough points to qualify him as a UKC Top Ten AHT. Rowen finished #4 in the Top Ten in 2006, #3 in 2007, and #5 in 2008.  Rowen Won the Award of Merit at the UKC's Top Ten Competition at Premier 2007.  During the same show weekend, Rowen won Best is Specialty Show for the American Hairless Terrier Association's Annual Specialty.  Rowen is also a multi Best in Multi-Breed and multi Reserve in Multi-Breed show winner, as well as numerous Terrier Group 1 wins.
While Rowen excelled in the ring, his greatest contribution has been one of an outstanding stud dog.  He has sired 8 Grand Champions and Champions from only 3 litters.  Of those dogs, two were UKC Top Ten AHT's for 2009 and now for 2010.  Rowen sired the highest placing AHT of all time, his daughter, GRCH 'PR' Miracle's Sound of Heaven.  We look forward to his continued contribution to our breed.  Rowen is also a UKC Merit Sire.

Rowen is truly our heart dog.  his temperament and loving spirit exemplifies the very best this breed has to offer.  He has never met a person or child, dog or cat that he didn't love.  When he is happy, which is practically always, not only does his tail wag, but his whole rear end wags. He loves to sing out loud to show his incredible zest for life. His exuberance is contagious, as he makes us laugh out loud at his antics.
Rowen loves to:
  • Run in the desert and hunt anything there; bird, hare or roadrunner,
  • Sing along when Linda plays the flute or tinwhistle, as well as when I sing,
  • Lure coursing and Agil-lure,
  • Chase after balls,
  • Do obedience training
  • Go on road trips and outings with us, he loves meeting new people,
  • Snuggling and talking with Joe and Linda
